A group of good samaritans gave firefighters a hand rescuing several manatees who had become stranded on Clearwater Beach, Florida. Officials think high winds and waves may have pushed the gentle animals ashore, but the crowd helped get them back into the water.
âA great job was done by all - firefighters and members of the public who teamed up to return the manatees to the waters of the Gulf of Mexico,â the Clearwater Fire and Rescue Department wrote in a Facebook post.
