Number 1... A Pennsylvania State Police trooper who was critically wounded in a shooting last month has been released from the hospital with a hero's discharge. Lieutenant James Wagner, who is 45, was released Monday with a line of troopers saluting him as he left the hospital. Wagner will continue his recovery at a rehab facility. He was wounded in a shootout with a gunman who attacked a state police barracks June 17th. Trooper Jacques Rougeau Junior was killed in the activity.

Number 2... Chancellor Radha Pyati has officially taken the reins at Penn State Berks. She says she's starting out by meeting with different groups to gauge their thoughts on what should be happening at the school. More than 30-percent of the university's 21-hundred students identify as being from an underrepresented group.

Number 3... Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is supporting his fellow actors in the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. According to a new report from Variety, The Rock made a "seven-figure donation" to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation to help offset financial difficulties.
